The journey to a net-zero emissions economy by 2050 and beyond is not as simple as declaring a target year end-point. In addition to eliminating carbon emissions, there are other constraints confronting the world. Generating zero emission electricity and switching to personal electric vehicles can only get us so far. Many industrial production sources will continue to emit carbon for decades. Next-generation, non-emitting industrial processes are still experimental or very expensive; so legacy production methods will continue to be built. The journey to a zero emission economy will require, at least in part, technology that can “bolt-on” to these legacy processes. If current trends continue, it is virtually assured that global emissions will over-shoot the planet’s carrying capacity for a 2℃ target. In order for the world to return to a sustainable set of conditions, it will require striving to achieve net-negative emissions.This webinar will outline the following concepts for a curious but non-expert audience:

  • CO₂ Capture;
  • Geological CO₂ storage;
  • CO₂ utilization;
  • CO₂ utilization with Conversion;
  • Direct CO₂ Air Capture;
  • An integrated systems approach.

Join 360 Energy and Richard Adamson, CEO of Industrial Climate Solutions Inc., on Thursday February 20 at 1:00 p.m. ET (11:00 a.m. MT), to learn more about the role carbon capture can play in achieving net zero emissions and in working towards net-negative emissions.Even with significant energy efficiency improvements, the global appetite for energy is likely to continue to grow. You will want to join this webinar to learn more about the industrial sector and the options it has to reduce carbon emissions now and in the near future. REGISTER HERE
