Burlington ON, May 26, 2009: 360 Energy, Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium (EMC), and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), through its Partners in Project Green initiative have partnered to offer the Sustainable Energy Planning Program. Phase 2 is being launched on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario.
Phase 1 - A site assessment that identifies the key members (up to five people) from your organization who should be trained and which uncovers potential problems and roadblocks to successful energy initiatives
Phase 2 – A one-day workshop that provides exposure to over 60 world-wide best practices for energy. The trainees will focus on five key areas of energy management while assessing their current energy management programs by developing a scorecard and baseline map of their current activity ensuring energy initiatives are in line with the strategic direction of the organization. The processes, programs, and projects identified should lead to bottom-line energy savings between one and twenty-five percent on electricity, natural gas and water.
Phase 3 – After completion of the workshop, 360 Energy will also be offering additional support to complete milestones and develop a plan, sell the concept to senior management, and ensure resources are available to meet your goals, objectives, and reduction targets. Successful execution will pave the way to utilizing the appropriate resources & technology, and creating a sustainable energy program for years to come.
