Burlington ON, September 16, 2008: With the passing of Hurricane Ike and everyone being witness to a 13-cent gas price spike, energy and other key commodities continue to be the topic of discussion. Due to the success of 360’s energy management programs, David Arkell, President & CEO of 360 Energy, has been asked to participate in the upcoming conference, Energy Excellence 2008 (EnEX08).
With ongoing concern for the environment, a strong focus on reducing energy costs, and an emphasis being placed on conservation, 360 Energy has developed a hybrid approach to energy management by capturing world-wide best practices in a format that can be easily deployed.
360’s three flagship programs are the Sustainable Energy Planning Workshop, the Energy Coach, and the Certification in Energy Excellence Program. It has been proven that companies can save between 5 and 25% on their energy bills. St. Mary’s Cement, The Regional Municipality of Peel, and Ridley College are among those participating in the programs.
EnEX08, presented by 360’s partner, Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium (EMC) and by the editors and publishers of Energy Management, Green Business and PEM Plant Engineering and Maintenance magazines will be held September 23 and 24 in Mississauga, Ontario. David will be on a panel openly discussing key energy topics such as cost, consumption, conservation, and reducing environmental/carbon footprints. 360 Energy is working with EMC to offer its members manufacturing-specific expertise for energy best practices, training, auditing, management strategies, and market intelligence.
